My earliest recollection with a camera was at the tender age of 13 while on school tour. I recall taking photos of anything and everything that intrigued me in their natural habitat, and realised that by capturing these images I was able to take these images home with me to cherish forever.
From taking photos on a school tour to capturing priceless moments of my busy daughter, what had been a simple hobby for many years had now turned into a passion I completed a photography course through Nikon SA with Norman Pearman and later completed a diploma short course.
In 2016 with the support of my husband, I decided to officially start Daylight Photography. ‘Day’ as my surname and ‘light’ as I love capturing moments in natural light.
As a natural light photographer I aim to capture clients memories to be as real as possible and not posed.
2018 was our most busiest year as our amazing clients referred friends and family members. Our team grew by three photographers and we foresee more growth later this year as we expand our portfolio range.
